We just love the feel of a backyard wedding. Sometimes the perfect venue can be right outside your kitchen window. This year, many of our brides are going for this look/feel. We have enjoyed the hunt for a perfect backyard wedding. Even if it's just a backyard BBQ. Take a look at some inspirational pictures we have enjoyed looking through. Be on the lookout for some of CCE backyard inspired wedding photos soon!!!

"Midnight in the Garden"...
Save the Dates are getting more and more popular. Now, girls are looking beyond the photo postcard (which are always ADORABLE) and getting creative. One of our Savannah brides just loves the non-fiction/best seller "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil". Together with the help of our WONDERFUL designer Kalyn, with Lilah Paper, we created a wonderful concept for her save the dates....BOOKMARKS!!! The bride even found copies of the book in French to send all of her European friends/guests. See the design below...

Married to Metallics
When Bailey first hired us she'd just started the "planning" puzzle (but with missing MANY pieces). We were thrilled to take on the design, planning and organization for the Pham/Arnold wedding weekend. Many of the guests referred to it as "PHAMTASTIC"!!! Caroline named their pinterest page "Married to Metallics" and below is a sneak peak to the end result. Check us out on Facebook for more!

We've pulled a "Martha"...
One of the many exciting aspects of our job is all of the creating and designing we get to do. Caroline and I could spend ALL day going through linen swatches, design boards, invitations and more. (Actually, now that I think about it, I am pretty sure we've been guilty of that few times!!!) Then, there are times when we can't even find the simplest thing (it's not like we are difficult to please...yeah right). So what does one do? We make it!!!! Take a look below at our little "Martha" work in progress. We will be using this adorable display for an escort card table this Fall.

Honeymoon Shower...
I was recently chatting with a girlfriend of mine who is getting married this coming up fall. Being a home owner with uber-style she, of course, already has all the gadgets that a normal bride would receive at one of their many miscellaneous shower. Therefore, she is trying to steer away from the "traditional" shower in exchange for honeymoon prizes. (Get you mind out of the gutter, not those kind of prizes.) We are talking activities, food, wine, airfare, hotels and more!!! This is a great way to please everyone. As we all know, there are family friends that just won't say NO to a shower. Check out some simple steps on how to start the process:
- Scope out your honeymoon location
- Create and overall budget to keep track of
- Create a list of activities/excursions you would like to do on your trip
- Create a wedding website and list your honeymoon location
- Possibly choose a safe website for guests to deposit funds into:CLICK HERE FOR AN EXAMPLE
