Great hostess gifts for all of your wedding soirees!

If you have not heard yet, you must check out these delicious candles made from one of my best friends and her mother, http://www.foxglowinc.com/ . They feature local landmarks around the Chapel Hill area and they smell fabulous! I always love giving and receiving nice candles that are packaged and presented in a pretty way and these definitely complete the task! They are presented in a large, blue and white striped box with a set of old school matches. Perfect for your next hostess gift!

Jewelry for your bridesmaids

To all of you that are trying to find that perfect gift for your girls, check out http://kellifreemandesigns.com/index.html. This is one of my best friends and she does a fabulous job on custom jewelry. You can send her links to the girls' attire or swatches of their fabric and let her do a few mock ups for you. She will email you pics of the examples if you prefer and then you can choose your selection. She is super talented and I have been giving her jewelry as gifts for quite a while!

New Year's Festivities

The holidays are over and I have to admit that I am sad and a little bummed out! I could have Christmas all year round if possible. I think I just love the excitement, the anticipation and mainly the decorations in my house this time of year. I can't even stand to think of having to take them all down this week. I know many of you may be looking forward to New Year's Eve and I am sure there are big plans and parties going on but I am one that doesn't really enjoy making a big deal out of the night. I think it's a little hyped up and overpriced. We are having a few friends over, doing a little bonfire in our backyard with an oyster roast and grilling steaks. That to me, sounds fabulous! Here's to you and your New year's! Hope it is a great start to a fabulous 2011!
